Our Philosophy on Privacy

Math Church is a non-commercial, personal project. Our goal is to share mathematical ideas while collecting the absolute minimum amount of data required for the website to function securely.

1. What Information We Collect (and Why)

We do not ask you to provide any personal information. This site has no user accounts, no comment sections, no contact forms, and does not use cookies.

The only data collected is the standard technical information logged by the web server when your browser requests a page. This includes:

This data is used exclusively for the security and technical operation of the website, such as protecting against malicious traffic and troubleshooting errors. It is not used to track you or identify you personally.

2. Data Handling and Retention

We are committed to data minimization. All server logs containing IP addresses are automatically and permanently deleted within two hours of being collected.

We do not sell, rent, or share this transient log data with any third party for any reason.

3. Your Privacy Rights

Privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grant individuals rights to access, correct, or delete their personal information.

Our data retention policy is designed to respect your privacy by default. Because we permanently delete all potentially identifiable information (IP addresses) within two hours, we do not retain any personal data that could be subject to an access or deletion request. The data is gone before a request could be processed.

In line with its nature as a non-commercial personal project, this website does not have a public contact method.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
